It’s no secret that we all have a serious shopping habits. Even if you shaking off your head right now, you know the truth. We’re shoppers for life. When the paycheck comes, it's all about the big splurge, new clothes, restaurants, taxi ride (yeah, yeah guilty as charged) and after that first wave of throwing your money cause you're a rock star, you slow down. Instead of a new pair of jeans you're all the sudden interested in building your library with the latest Houellebecq book. Pasta at your favorite restaurant is forgotten and now you're exploring the vegan options at your grocery store. But you're still using a taxi and you shop. It doesn't matter what. You shop.

In the past years, there has been an emphasis on the importance of online retail but if you ask me, nothing can beat that good old feeling when you shop at the mall. There’s a comfort in shopping at the mall especially the new one like BIG FASHION is, which presents the biggest shopping center in the old part of Belgrade (8minutes by car from the city center) with more than 100 shops on two levels. Do I have to say how gorgeous is the new Zara store design? Or the terrace with the Danube view? Ideal for the leisure and lunch break. But let's get back to the theme.

Malls specifically have also excelled at providing shoppers with a sense of discovery and community that new options like online shopping simply lack. You know what you’re going to get when it comes to fit and quality and the products are easily accessible. You can actually experience the product, no need to wait for weeks for a product to arrive, you can shop instantly for an urgent occasion or you can return it easily which is not the case if you shop online. So online shopping may be today’s popular option, but it will never live up to all that the mall delivers and that's one of the main reasons I'm still a big fan of shopping malls.
Okay, okay I cheat with the apps by checking the stock at physical store but that's call the preparation. You gotta be in shaped before you're start hiking in the Alps, right? ;)

p.s. the whole look can be found at BIG FASHION shopping center, it's sale time so hurry up!

Smooth summer

Hello July!
The hot weather is already here and as much as I love feeling the warmth of the sun against my skin, there is always one question that hangs on my mind. When did I last wax my legs?
When it comes to beauty treatments I'm definitely in a do it yourself team, so when Philips asked me would I try the latest Lumea device I instantly said yes cause I was more than curious to see the results.
In case you're not familiar with it, Lumea Prestige is a long-lasting IPL hair removal solution offering up to 92% hair reduction in just 3 treatments. Easy to use, its attachments are uniquely designed for optimal results in each body area, including facial and bikini hair removal. It even advises the best setting for your skin tone. Not to be confused with laser, IPL is short for Intense Pulsed Light - a new technology that puts hair into resting phase in the comfort of your own home. The product works by applying gentle pulses of light to the hair and the hair root, just underneath the skin. These hairs naturally shed in the following couple of weeks post-treatment, and any re-growth is inhibited, resulting in silky-smooth skin for longer. All you have to do is use the device five times (every two weeks). And to maintain results, you can touch up every 6-8 weeks.
That's how I  swapped chill and did the IPL with Netflix instead. After my first use wondered why I waited so long to try it. I have to admit that I was a little bit sceptic as to how effective this would be. However after only one use, I already could see the result on my legs, where the hair took longer to grow back and was thinner than previously and after the third treatment it was noticeable reduction of up to 92%. Heaven!
And if you were worried about safety, don’t be, because IPL may not be suitable for certain hair colors and skin types the Philips Lumea Prestige features an in-built, exclusive SmartSkin sensor, which accurately assesses your skin’s suitability for treatment and then advises the most effective setting. It’s safe to say that the hair-removal process has never been smoother or easier!
Now I'm off to pick a new dress for this leg show off! ;)
